The town of Goffs doesn't have much left to offer except for the Goffs Schoolhouse, a 1914 creation that went from school to deteriorated old building by the 1980s. Recent restoration efforts by the Mojave Desert Heritage & Cultural Association brought the building back, and today its sits as a museum, with a fascinating collection of mining-related items and other memorabilia scattered across the grounds.
About 10 miles past Goffs, Route 66 crosses Interstate 40 again. You'll notice a small "oasis" of palm trees and a gas station/convenience store named Najah's Food & Drink Garden at the Hi-Sahara Oasis.
If you need gas or provisions, stop in, but note that their pricing is commiserate with their location – the middle of nowhere. Expect to pay a premium for everything, to the point where a sign on the door points out thanks you in advance for not taking the prices out on the cashier.
