Your guide for Route 66 travel information, attractions, planning and hotel accommodations.

Pick a State or City to explore

Claremont is quite the college town: the Claremont Colleges is a consortium of seven highly-rated schools, giving the city the moniker "Home to trees and PhDs."

Over and above the trees, Claremont also features the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden, an 86-acre botanical garden dedicated to native California plants — over 70,000 of them across 2,000 species.

Also, Pitzer College (one of the Claremont Colleges) features the John Rodman Arboretum, offering more views of indigenous vegetation.

Route 66 continues through La Verne and skims San Dimas (proudly the setting for the movie Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure) before entering Glendora.
