Your guide for Route 66 travel information, attractions, planning and hotel accommodations.

Pick a State or City to explore

From Stroud, Route 66 heads across more of the open, rolling plains of eastern Oklahoma. Approaching Davenport, Route 66 officially takes a sweeping curve (known as the famous "midway" curve, halfway between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, but head straight if you can and check out the old route through town, which includes bricks laid down in the original 1925-1926 paving of the road. Locally made at the Davenport Brick Plant, they're still the surface of Broadway, the main street. Watch for a few murals downtown, with more coming.
