Your guide for Route 66 travel information, attractions, planning and hotel accommodations.

Pick a State or City to explore

Next up is Bristow, which calls itself the "Woodland Queen." The city has more brick roads than any other town in Oklahoma, and was the site of the state's first radio station, KRFU, which lives on today as KVOO, though it's now in Tulsa. The Bristow Historical Museum showcases this and more regarding the town's history.

Trivia: A 1930 ordinance (No. 328) still on the books in Bristow stiuplates that for every glass of water served to a patron in a public café or eating house, one peanut must also be served.
