Your guide for Route 66 travel information, attractions, planning and hotel accommodations.

Pick a State or City to explore

Shortly after joining U.S. 60, Route 66 enters the northern Oklahoma city of Afton, which features the Afton Station Classic & Antique Car Museum as a local must-see. Featuring a great selection of older car models, with a special emphasis on the Packard line of autos, traveling car buffs won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to pay homage to the automotive industry’s past.

Built inside an old 1930's D-X gas station, owner Laurel Richards Kane lovingly restored the old building in the 1990s, turning it into a terrific venue for classic cars and reminiscing about life on the road in earlier times.
