Your guide for Route 66 travel information, attractions, planning and hotel accommodations.

Pick a State or City to explore

On your way into Springfield, the city of Marshfield stakes its claim as crucial stop along Historic Route 66.

For instance, as the birthplace of Edwin Hubble, you’d be remiss not getting a glimpse of the one-quarter-scale replica of the Hubble Telescope sitting in front of the Webster County Courthouse downtown. Moreover, Marshfield boasts the longest-running 4th of July Parade this side of the Mississippi, as it's been going strong every year since 1879.
